INTRODUCTION
My name is Camil. I am a trans freelance Japanese, English and Italian translator.I graduated from the Ca' Foscari University of Venice with a dissertation focused on the representation of queer characters in anime and manga, a subject I still love researching! I am passionate about the intricacy of gender and how it is perceived or written in other cultures, so if you have cool books or manga/anime to recommend me on the topic, head them my way!I'm currently a PhD candidate researching Japanese pop media under a queer lens for the University of Bologna.
